Winkfp error 106 HELP!!!!!!!

I followed all the instructions. However, Kdcan gives this error whether it is connected to the vehicle or not.

Inpa is connecting. I'm not sure if the cable is broken.I installed the drivers.

I am trying to introduce the FRM3 PL2 module. The problem is caused by why you think. Can I introduce vin in another way.

If inpa is working fine then winkfp should also be working. Does frm populate in inpa? If it doesn't show on that list (your photo doesn't show all modules) then the frm is dead. The winkfp error you see ifh0009 means no communication

do you mean to have the bootsector update activated? normally that should be off.

also, the HW address field is blank. WinkFP won't work without that. are you using expert mode?

is your serial adapter *actually* located at COM1? People seem to think COM1 is the only port that exists because all the guides say "set to COM1" with no explanation. but it's actually assigned automatically by Windows depending on what other serial devices are present (or have been present). best to check it in the device manager..

Yes it should show up on the list in the screenshot you posted in inpa. Does it not show there? If it doesn't populate there then the module you purchased is dead
