Unhappy Please help! E92 not switching to second turbo

Hi,

Would like some advise please, just purchased a bmw 335d e92 2011 m sport. After the purchase we took it down the road noticed after 2500rpm the second turbo wasn’t kicking in and almost went to limp mode you could say, long story short called the guy he said it happened once before and to just reconnect the airflow sensor which we did and it was fixed.

Move forward 3 weeks later same problem has happened however reconnecting the air flow sensor hasn’t fixed it, pulls fine until 2500k then second turbo just doesn’t kick in… tried bringing it to local garage and they aren’t any use. Just replaced air flow sensor, didn’t fix it.

I noticed when I’m driving along and it’s not working and I turn the car off and on quickly the second turbo will boost will kick in and then maybe 5 mins or so later it won’t switch to the second turbo again? Seems like short circuit or something ? Do I need to change the boost actuator maybe I saw that on another post? Maybe pressure converter is not working to switch from small turbo to big? I’m not very car literate and just going off other posts I’ve read!

what it could be please?
