I don't think the ground control sleeve would work because the perches are welded on the Bilsteins. You'd have to turn it off with a lathe, or some precision angle grinder work.

Not impossible I guess, but not particularly easy.

You can leave the perches on there just like you would an OE shock. It doesn't look pretty but will still hold up the threaded sleeve and coilover spring.
