How to remove orange reflectors on headlights?

I have an 06 330i and would love to know how to get rid of the orange reflecters on the headlights, anyone know or have a DIY?

Gotta hide it. Taking the reflectors out is nearly impossible without damaging the lights. You can buy something from JLevisw.com to cover the reflectors and it can be body color, or you can get vinyl tint to hide them. I personally have the entire headlight housing tinted and think it solves the problem well.

I already tried using magic, then asking the magical e90 fairy to make them go away. . alas, no success.

Remove headlights.
Bake them in the oven for 10min with 300F
Pry the lens from the main unit
Cut off the Orange bit somehow
Put the plastic back
Reheat in the Oven

BTW: You are an idiot if you follow this. Why cant you do a search before you ask?

I don't know if you use this car as your daily, but Justin at AAC does fantastic work. And turn around time can be minimal if you plan properly. He started out his business specializing with the Lexus IS300 installing Angel Eyes, painting housing, and projector retrofits. His business has since taken off ever since. Really does great work. Maybe worth looking into for a quote at least.

No, for opening the lights up and removing the reflector. You basically have to 'break' the lights then glue them back together.

LoL, very much so.

I have done this with my 98 GMC Jimmy headlights, and that wasn't too bad. Heard the glue they use on the BMW lights is ridiculous though and crazy hard to get through without physically breaking the headlight

Good luck though!
