Unhappy Windshield washer not working.

So I'm finally pushing myself to fix everything in my 2007 e92 328i(pre lci, not sure if this matters) this summer, and one of those is the windshield washer. My only problem is I'm not sure where to start. I changed out the windshield washer fuses although they all looked fine, but this did not make a difference. When I pull the lever to activate the washer I get nothing, no noise, no wipers, nothing. It's almost like I'm not even pulling it. I also tried holding it longer (5, 10 seconds) but it didn't make a difference. What should I do?

It's probably the the pump. Scan for faults to make sure before blindly replacing it, although it is a really cheap part.

Do you have headlight washers too? If you do, do they work?

It's likely the pump which is located in the passenger side fender behind the wheel liner. Have you pulled the hose leading to the wiper fluid spray nozzle and cleared any obstruction? Odds are, it's the pump which is an inexpensive part.

Is this the correct part? I saw several people saying it was about 35$ But this one is only 7$ https://www.ecstuning.com/b-uro-parts/windshield-washer-pump/67127302589~uro/?gclid=CjwKCAjwrPCGBhALEiwAUl9X03dKZY9dRhq6BuNP6q4 tKmjiZFx0lYfSqubXc9hGNG1N06JfUovkbhoC_iEQAvD_BwE

Just look it up on realoem and get the corresponding pump for your model and options. There are two different pumps. One for vehicles with headlight washers and one without. They both are around $10 on Amazon.

Thank you, everybody! Replacing the pump fixed it.
