Inside the car you get a bit deeper rumble but its not boomy. The kids are more than happy to fall asleep in the back on the motorway. Only when regen kicks in on the DPF does it get loud
Would it fit a 320d Pre-LCI? got any pics?

Not sure if it would

But cant see any no reason it would not fit

Originally had it with the cut tips (on the floor picture) but then changed it to the rolled tips as they gave a nicer look IMO

Looks good mate and that's exactly what id go for but im new to the E90 scene so im not sure if it would fit or not. Id want to fit it myself rather than have to go to an exhaust place.

Its just case of unbolting the old exhaust at the join to the cat at the front and unclipping the rubber hangers. You will also need to unscrew the bracing plate on the tunnel.

IF you have a good jack not a problem to do it yourself. Exhaust is in two pieces to make it easier to fit. Do the mid section and then the backbox. Have a look at real oem and compare the part numbers / shape from the 04/2009 build to yours

Got access to a two post lift so getting the car in the air is not a problem. What i was getting at was i have no Welding equipment to hand should it not be a straight bolt on replacement.

Ill do some research on Real OEM, good shout

The title of this thread should be:

Anyone got a decent sounding exhaust on any diesel?

And the answer is simply - No! Unless ofcourse its a Scania V8 truck with a set of nice stacks!
