Today I went to the store while leaving the dog in the car (BMW 525), because it was impossible to take with. But coming back, I realized that my lock is broken! Just stuck. Live dog inside, very hot, can you imagine how scared I was? Thank God that I had a phone (usually I also leave it inside). I immediately called the nearest locksmith and it was emergencylocksmithvancouver.ca, but waited for him for about an hour. The worst thing is to hear your dog whine and understand that you will not help her in any way. I already didn’t care how much money I would have to pay for repairs. Fortunately, Snoopy got off with a great thirst, and I am only 20 dollars. Check locks as often as possible.

Not a BMW but finally got the tail lights smoked on the Lexus. This was the 3rd attempt and required a SHIT TON of sanding to remove all the previous 2 attempts. Sanded them down to bare plastic then 240, 400, 600, 800, 1200 grit. Sprayed with 2 coats of NightShade, let them sit for 3 hours, then sanded with 1200 again. Sprayed with 2k clear (4 coats), then sanded again with 1200, then 2000, then 300; then cutting polish and then 3M machine polish. Quite pleased with the end result. Not sure why my pictures always look so shitty when uploading from my phone.

After 6 weeks of waiting I finally drove her home today. 09 E90 335i rwd 6spd. Wish it was m sport but couldn't pass up the opportunity. Only 52k miles.
Just need to fix the daily driver and then I can start modifying it.

M3 e93 front sway bar and bushings.
Honestly it didn’t look that different pre install - the pics kind of show that it’s fatter In some areas? Feels good after install - butt feel tells me theres about 30-50% less body roll during turn in. Last edited by porsche959; 07-25-2019 at 09:17 AM.. |

Took it on a test drive No errors codes or faults!! Ahh I feel I accomplished something good. Tomorrow or th enext day adding bimmerlabs 330i flash to start see how it feels and decide if to go with AA tune or what next. Car FEELS GREAT!!!!

That wood trim is really easy to remove and wrap with vinyl; plus it's pretty cheap to do. Please.....please don't go with carbon fiber. Silver or brushed aluminum would look nice in there.

This morning, I brought my ride to my trusted Indy BMW mechanic for some brake services (fluid change, replace rear brakes) and to do other regular preventive maintenance checks.

The ride has gotten progressively worse over the last few months, so I inspected the shocks and associated parts.
Rear bump stop was separated clean in half, and one rear shock does not extend whatsoever upon compression. Front strut mount to shock nut was extremely loose on one side somehow, so I tightened it down. Loosened and re-tightened the other one as well. Kind of disappointed the Koni yellows only lasted 2 years (40k mi).

Put a new windshield trim on the 328i this afternoon.
The old one was crumbling off so the new one makes the car look 10 years newer! |

Engine bay needs major cleaning and the paint needs to be addressed. Ordered a heavy claybar kit and I plan to spend a whole day cleaning her up good. Future goals is to do bolt ons and m sport bumpers. Then single turbo build after that.
