New car
Evening all
Not a new BMW owner but a new car I thought I'd share with you all. Previously had an early E90 320d SE which was a great car with very few issues. However, got a new job so fancied a change. Westerly Bridgwater had a 56 330i M Sport that I couldn't say no to. Previous owner was an accountant, serviced at Westerly since new etc. Spec: Automatic Beige Dakota leather Bluetooth phone prep The pics..... |

Very nice. Such a shame the 330i has been dropped!

If you dont find a cracking twisty a-road this weekend in the lovely spring sun i will beat you.
Nice buy! Have a soft spot for the 330i engine. Classic colour combo for the blue too. Oh and welcome |

Looks very nice! How are you getting on with the Auto box and how does it feel after the D?

The 330i is so so much smoother than the 4 pot D, but that's hardly surprising. There is less torque in the petrol but it doesn't seem to matter as the 'box changes down if it needs to anyway. Such a pleasure to kickdown!! Just need to get rid of these shocking rft's now..... |

Good to hear about other local members. I love a little outside bridgwater- near Hinkley Point. But the other half lives off Taunton Road so always about. Yes that was me on Saturday in b&q! You might recognise location of the pics- westonzoyland airfield. Surprised you didn't see my car at westerly as it was sitting there for 2 months before I bought it a few weeks ago! Will keep an eye out for you both! Last edited by jamesg; 03-28-2011 at 06:53 AM.. Reason: text |

I did see it
Was in for a service recently, and a few parts about three weeks before that. Is the fat clown sales guy still there, the ex Skoda chap who just doesnt seem to 'fit in'? He lost sale of a 135i to me as he wouldn't cover the road fund so we walked. LOL. You have to wonder. Service guys seem quite decent, as is the care level at Westerly Bilgewater. Mines the noisy silver coupe. Often with the wife driving and trying to completely grind down my once pristine CSL style wheels...
