So I have the full Carly app and have a wired cord for my 2007 but I tried it with my buddies 2010 and it didn't work...So I tried my elm Bluetooth and it didn't work...Any good elms that work with newer cars?

I think I know the answer to this, but does anyone with the latest build of the app know if it is able to do the Alpina TCU flash?

All of the "pro coders" are giving me quotes in the $150-200 range, which just seems crazy to spend a little time remoted-in to another computer...

Use the original Carly gear only , then you have access to the bazillion of features and options offered by Carly.

I prefer to use a K-DCAN cable, that way you can use the same cable for all the other diagnostic & coding software. Because of all the other software I use on the car, I also run carly on my laptop vs through a phone or tablet....Much cheaper as well...

Guys I use the Carly android app with the D-KAN cable, but only allows 6 modules to be read. At leadst thats all that comes up. I assume with the Carly adapter you can open up and code more modules??????

I have an iPhone 6 and 2006 E90 330i. Couple of questions... can I code with the Lite version of the app or do I have to purchase the full version? Also, will the Vgate wifi adapter work just as well as the carly one?

Hi! I got the carly adaptor and the pro app on ios. I spent a few hours today trying to code a few things
Angel eyes as DRLs
Seat belt reminder off
Reverse tilting mirror
Lights on instrument cluster always on
Real speed speedo digital

I set all of these to active or how in all the options required. However the outcome was

No drl
Seat belt reminder off but warning on dashboard
Mirror did not tilt (set to driver side)
Lights on instrument cluster were as always
Digital speedo was succesful. However i got access to whole obc menu excluding drl option (even though i have idrive)

Other things worked like panic alarm and beep on lock/unlock
However the things i wanted did not work lol
I tried coding the idrive but it says something on the lines of 'model does not have a compatible idrive... models after 2007'.
My car is a E90 320D 2009 with halogen headlights and ccc business idrive. I changed the angel eye bulbs to LED a few months ago thats why i want them as drl instead of parking lights all the time + i dont like dials without lights. I had to use the back ups done by carly to go back to original state as angel eyes did not light up on parking lights either by the end of it lol they did on dipped beams but no other position. Its all back to normal now however i stil want to get it done. Anyone have any experience with 09' e90s?
