Good luck getting that crusty, glassy dust off your rims.
Half-Sintered(Semi Metallic) pads chews thru rotors big time.

I've gone through two sets of HPS 5.0s in the last 20k miles. I track the car about once a quarter. They provide great stopping power with little fade (I also have steel braided lines, high temp fluid, and drilled/slotted rotors).
My last track session was at Texas World speedway, a very fast track. 7 20 minute sessions destroyed these pads. I limped home with about three sheets of paper worth of pad left on the front. So my impressions: Good bite Low fade Very fast wear (good if you want to preserve rotor life) I'm switching to HAWK HP Plus for the front on my track days now. |
