Question?
Has anyone every done vinyl wrap over the window trim? If so my question is let's say that for whatever reason I get the black vinyl done on my window trim and for whatever reason decide I do not like it and want to remove it...How much of a pain in the ass is it to remove also will I have to clean off alot of glue or adhesive residue?

Just wondering how easily reversible it is if I decide I don't like the look

+1

Never thought about that before. You brought up a good question.

I don't know of anyone who has done it around here, but i know a few guys have had it done by "brandonanix" out west and he says it's fairly simple to remove. I'm thinking there might be some residue to clean off, but if you don't like it you'll most likely remove it within a week or so. I don't think it will leave as much glue as if you left it on for say 6months or a year. I'm guessing if you heat up the vinyl and use some goo gone it shouldn't be a problem.

I'm thinking about doing the same thing as you if i don't like it once it's done.

Hey, looks like I won't be meeting up with you in Edison. Maybe we can meet at one of the rest stops on the GSP. I think there is a huge rest stop right after the toll if you're headed South from Exit 131. What do you think?

Best bet if youre worried about the look is to NOT go first. Let a few cars go through(especially one in the same color as yours) and then make your decision.

Ive removed vinyl stickers from my car before(windows and hood) and there was never really any residue leftover. If there is, its not hard to get off at all with some goo gone and a rag. Since its over the metal trim, you dont have to worry about your paint or anything.

Are you sure it's called the Cheesequake? Can you get me some sort of address? This way, I can google.map it to see how far it is from the DD.

vinyl especially 3m vinyl is very easy to remove with a little heat(blow dryer), patience and a little goo gone.

Hey,
I will be there Saturday at 12 for the vinyl installation, however I have a meeting with a client in Newark at 3pm. Would it be cool to have my car done as one of the first few? I would need to leave by 2:15 at the latest to race up there, so as long as it's done by then I would good to go. I don't mean to be cutting in front of anyone but would really appreciate it if ya guys could help me out...If you guys are still hanging around when my meetings over I will def stop by again to check out the meet and how the rest of the installations went. Thanks!

If it's ok with everyone else, you can go first if you need to. I don't mind, but i guess we can figure it out once we get there. Try and show up early... it's going to be more of a first come first serve type of deal.

See u there!
