In the garage:
Full sized p/u MCS Nothing with any level of luxury. The Z06 is a beast that I would love to own. The CTS-V is a beast with luxury and that back seat if needed. King Kong in a tuxedo. I thought even with our eco problems they would try and strong arm us on price. Yes, Kampfer, I do need 556hp to get groceries. Who doesn't? If they will drop that CTS another 2K that would be quite the dilemma. My biggest "want" is TORQUE. I LOVE TORQUE! CTS-V, with its supercharged 6.2-liter LSA engine, has achieved SAE-certified peak output of 556 horsepower (415 kW) at 6100 rpm and 551 lb.-ft. (747 Nm) of torque at 3800 rpm.CTS-V accelerates from 0-60 mph in 3.9 seconds. CTS-V covers the quarter-mile in 12 seconds at 118 mph. These acceleration times are believed to be the fastest for any V-8-powered sedan currently in production. More than just power, CTS-V also includes a comprehensive suite of technical and design enhancements, including Magnetic Ride Control and a new automatic transmission with paddle-shift control. Cadillac pioneered Magnetic Ride Control, the world's fastest-acting suspension, in 2004. The new CTS-V employs a new version of this technology, enabling it to achieve a remarkably wide bandwidth of capability that ranges from extreme high-performance agility to the smooth road manners of a prestigious luxury sedan. I believe the Z06 is rated at 470lb-ft at 4,800 rpm.

08' 7700 miles. Asking 56K.
Lethal Z cam package (AFR springs/Harland Sharp Rockers/PushRods), Killerbee Cold Air Intake with Vette Air, American Racing Headers with Hi Flow Xpipe, Ported Intake Manifold, Ported Throttle Body, MGW Shifter, Venture Shield Clear Bra front/side/hood, 20% Tinted windows, M2W switch, JSB Smoothie Fuel Rail Covers. Currently makes 538/494 with a very conservative 12:5 a/f. This Z drives amazing! I can cruise at 70mph with cruise control, no bucking or hesitations. She is an absolute beast when you put your foot down. Down right scary. What is that about 600hp at the crank?

oh wow, see now that is what i'm talking about.....sick. That car is a 10 second car no problem and will mop the floor with a GTR, and still probably get better gas mileage and be more reliable.
I want that car, you cant buy it Gonzo, I am.

It is a new listing on AutoTrader. He says "I am in no hurry to sell" so on and so on.
Momma is making him sell it I'll bet. Would there be a bolt or screw on this car under warranty? I sure would like to hear it. Car is in Alabama I think.

If you have a pulse you will choose the Z06, it is far and away the real drivers car of the two.

Looking around for a Cyber Gray 09.
One is already listed at 75K. Time to be patient and watch the $'s drop.

They are totally different cars IMO that offer completely different driving experiences. To me the GTR was very fun to drive, but it felt like I was playing a video game more than driving a car where I was giving inputs to the computer without having a direct link to the car. It was unbelievably easy to drive exteremely fast through turns, but at the end of the day it wasn't very engaging. I like the car, love the styling, but I would never buy one as it would get very boring, very fast for me.
With that said, I like the Z06, but I would probably never buy one of those either. If I get a high end sports car it will be one with no compromises and for me that is a GT3.
