How much does this cost if you don't mind me asking?

All in all about ~$200. I spent the last couple days taking off the old tint.

Yay! Glad you're getting the windshield done too! That'll look awesome on your black car...I might say that 20% on the windshield is even better...My car is 20% on every window and windshield, and it really makes the difference.

Everything is illegal and will be noticed, so why not go fully blacked out?!

Haha be sure to post pics!

For sure I will post pictures! I was going to go with 20% all around but I sometimes drive at night and I don't want my vision to be hindered that much.

Cool. I don't think it's too soon to get a thread going. The way time is flying it'll be meet weekend before you know it!

So...the other night I was taking the 94W to 394W ramp/loop thingy. I was obeying the posted speed limit, but carrying a lot of speed into the corner (I love doing that provided the road is empty), and it got me thinking:

What are some of your favorite roads to drive in the metro?

Beyond the ramp you mentioned, here are a few nice stretches off the top of my head:

The ramp from 62W to 100N
The ramp from 100N to I394E
I94W through downtown St Paul

Let me see if I can think of a few more...

Does anyone know of a good shop for installing springs? I just went over to JB Eurotech today and was quoted over $750 for installation and alignment. I was thinking it was going to cost between $350-$450 (that's what most people are paying on this site). Anyways, I am glad to see that the MSP area is becoming more active on here!

I always try to avoid Highway 100. Everytime I drive down that road there are always speed traps with 3-4 police cars.

I could try talking to Kevin at IMOLA.

Really?! I lived just off 50th St and Hwy100 for 3 years, and only ever saw about 3 speed traps!

When I was driving to IMOLA for the meet, there was a speed trap.

Tint Pros finished my car except for the back window. There was so much residue from the previous tint that he needs to order some special cleaner for it. The chemical won't be here til tuesday, but I'm patient. I'm happy as is. Here are some pictures. 35% on windshield and 20% all around.

Hey Nick,

I bought my 06 330xi a few months ago. After I sold the 335i and bought the Avalanche I regretted it. I was going to buy another 335 but my fiance and I decided to buy a house. Anyways, it feels really good to be back in an ultimate driving machine! Now, I must let the modding begin... again.

I called Imola and was quoted with a better price than JB Eurotech. I actually just sent Kevin a pm to see if there is an e90post discount that I could possibly get from him. I hope to hear from him soon. I would like to get the springs installed as soon as I can.
