Tire Question for my 335xi

I have a stock 2008 335xi with style 159 (17x8) wheels. I want to do a square up set of 245/40R17 and want to know if they will rub on the front. Also, if I stick with the standard tires (225/45R17) how wide a spacer can I use on the front and rear?

Thanks for any help!
