Hmm researching it a little more and and this thread scares me ... http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=243156 Way too much squeaking complaints.
On top of that, i was told by a vender that they KW doesn't support the XI an more with the v1. |

Bottom line: you can't have performance without a sacrifice (brakes - noises, exhaust work - emissions, tires - cost, etc.) You can't have your cake AND eat it as well.

If you get V3's and you're not happy with how they feel, you can just take it to the shop and say "make it how I want it", and they can do that for you.
If you get V1's, and you don't like the ride. You have 2 options : 1) deal with it 2) Sell them and try a different setup For non-adjustables, I'd just get the cheapest. (H&R). But if you're gonna be forking over more $ than H&R to get V1's, you're already paying half the difference of V3's... so just get the V3's. -scheherazade |

Some little known facts to set the record straight...KW V1's for the XI cost less than the H&R XI coil overs....if you hook up with the right vendor....hint (Sonic Motorsports)

Just ordered my KW v1!!! Now I'm just waiting for the shipping estimate... Looking forward to dropping the e92 a little bit, especially in the front-end.
I've been extremely conservative with this car so far. A year down the line and the only thing I have done is put some 12mm H&R spacers on the rear. I am running stock 189 18" wheels with the H&R spacers in the rear. Anyone know if I will rub on the e92 with a drop in the back? |
