I am having the error codes when trying to code a used FRM module all the other modules are codable except for this one. I’m not sure if it is the DATEN file that is bad for the E90 or some thing else is wrong, but I am seeking help on here, because I see the exact same issue I am facing from others

This thread focuses on things you can do with the protools app, which based on your photos, you aren’t using. No one mentioned FRM issues. BUT I have added how to default code the FRM using protools. |

It’s in the first post.
The first post is continuously edited to add new things the app can do. The bmw coding forum is where you’ll find help. You just need to start your own thread. |

Bimmergeeks standard tools is a good place to start, for laptop software. It's just a trusted and free package of bmw's factory tools like inpa, NCS expert, etc.
If you have an Android device, I also recommend bimmergeeks protool - it's way more user friendly than inpa or ncs expert, but has most of their functions. Well worth the investment. In my opinion. |

So is there a way to reset service due? I have a oil change needed and general service due .... I would also like to get rid of the speed sensor alarm but only until I have actually replaced them. It is annoying and I won't have the time for a few months.

You can reset the service reminders from the main screen.
Click vehicle-click maintenance reset(or something similar to that)-click the service you want to reset. What speed sensor are you talking about? The wheel speed sensor? |

You can clear the errors to see if they go away. You can’t disable the error/notification. |

You are trying to hijack the thread to get help with using ISTA, and the Standard Tools included with the ISTA download. Not remotely the same thing. |

I have a 2008 328xi Touring & a 2011 328xi sedan. Does anyone have issues with coding out cold weather warning ⚠️❄️? Protool codes both cars perfectly fine. Except the cold weather warning. It won’t go away. Being in Colorado the elevation & temps while driving constantly change, giving the annoying chime over & over.

Great info! This helped me to make the decision on buying the ProTool license. Will be testing the diagnostics and play around with the coding over the weekend.
