Take that!! transfer case. A new set of eyes in the morning and I got the bolt through. Thought about dropping the exhaust but did it the hard way. Good for another 60K. Changed transmission fluid and filter. The filter seal wasn't too bad, used a couple of screwdrivers to collapse it and pulled it out. After the trans got up to temperature and the fluid reached the fill plug like a dumb ass I shut the engine down to put the fill plug in and lost a lot of fluid. Had to put in almost another quart. It's done now. |

Fixed a problem that was driving me crazy for almost 2 weeks, I've sended my CAS module for a key fob programming, when I received it and reinstalled everything my horn was not honking, my cig power outlets were out of power, my electrical side mirrors weren't working too, my dash were full of codes, after many fuses, battery connections and a lot of electronic cleaner today I uninstalled the CAS module to give it a last check before I buyed another one and sended it for a clone, just to figure out that I've completely bended 2 pins on them while I was installing it, un ended it with a tiny screwdriver and I got my car back again, almost writing this in tears of happiness lol (attaching a picture of the pins itself so you can laugh with me)

The ash tray has a tiny LED light that dims and a ring around the 12v outlet that dims too. The ash tray wires were accessible on my car by removing the shift boot. |

I had to make my own harness and splice it in so I'm glad I did it right the first time

Ambient lighting around the console and radio/hvac controls. That spool of led rope looked a longer before I started routing it..
I plan to do the doors and might do along the dash trim, IF it doesn’t look like too much. Or just delete the console wiring later. Performance shift knob installed too. Also repaired the Tesla shocks I have on the trunk. Now it opens up by itself when I click open. |

I can’t imagine running the wires through the car up into the rear wheel well then down to the engine cowl. |

I still have to do the M3 Servotronic Rack retrofit. I have the rack installed but I need to run the wiring for the electric servo. I also have the wiring for the rear electric sunshade sitting waiting on my LCI sunshade button to come in. And of course, fabbing the harnesses for the rear CA handles. I figured by the time I do the wiring I should be an expert in removing the trims safely/running the wires properly

I circled the red wire with white stripe. It’s a thin one. This is the link to the shocks. Front Hood + Rear Trunk Lift Supports Struts Gas Springs Shocks for Tesla Model 3 (4pcs) https://a.co/d/2Y1ReCy Some $5 modifications required.. Extension added so trunk fully opens. The springs need a TINY bit of help to lift the trunk past the heavy point. Last edited by Serf27; 03-04-2023 at 02:47 AM.. |

Bought a subframe for it and lateral arms. Every bolt is seized in the rear subframe and cant even align the car after a bad pothole encounter. I have an e82 from the Carolinas and every bolt turns like a charm. Need to find a way to coat the new bolts to make sure this doesnt happen again.

Through ISTA? Using ICOM? I need to do this before I start my other mods to ensure my custom coding never gets overwritten... and also because I think it will fix my FSC issues for CIC map updates

Updated to the smaller wire, now tied into the light switch. Switched always on didn't bug me too much, but this is better for sure. Still bright, and I may pull off the top piece and put something in to diffuse/reduce the brightness. But might not...

I think I see what you mean. Adjust the brightness from the cluster. If it’s still bright, you can install a voltage regulator on the + wire for the shifter and bring the voltage down. You can also have it always on if you use the original red wire you were tapped into and using a voltage regulator will bring down the brightness. |
