Installed high flow cats/check engine light/e92

I recently installed a turbo back cobb exhaust set up with high flow catted down pipes on my 2007 335i with jb4 tune. Now every time I hit the gas too heavy, my check engine light comes on. I clear it with my carly device but it is still annoying and I would like to figure out a way to solve the problem for good. Is there any way to add something or change something to get the check engine light to stay off even when my emmisions are not where they are supposed to be? I have the newer jb4. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

If you have high flow catted down pipes, that's the whole point of getting them, which is to still pass emissions tests and not set off CEL codes.

Something is not right on your set up.

JB4 does not have a function to clear CEL codes related to cats.

Looking for anyone who has any info on ways to bypass this issue. My cats are extremely high flow. After seeing them, I should have just gone catless.

They do not set off the CEL codes unless I am really getting on it. I rarely pull this car out of the garage. When I do I like to have fun and really push it. I have to really be playing hard in order to set off the check engine light. But I was hoping to find a way to never have to encounter it.

How old are your pre-cat O2 sensors?

MHD & Cobb are the only tunes that have a feature which cancels that CEL code commonly associated with catless downpipes.

MHD only costs $100.00 plus $50.00 for the specific tune.

That's the route I'd go.

Sell the JB4 or use it in conjunction with MHD.

I believe they are the original O2 sensors to the car. Thats kind of what I was wondering about. Could there be a way to change that to avoid it? Or I saw something somewhere about some wire that could be hooked up with the jb4 in the ecu to avoid the emmisions issues.

I think the hi-flo cats can trigger the cel just because they the same thing as catless dps, under certain parameters they flow too much. Making dme think the cats are off.

Have seen this in past posts. Would be more helpful if you provide the codes. If you're getting the cat code then more than likely that's the issue.
