FWIW the 92 6 spd vlsd 3rd gen with the 190hp engine was the best of all the ones I owned imo. Other than having to put a clutch in at 190k it was pretty pain free and I beat the living piss out of it. Don't make em like they used to.



Anyone want to buy my used Helix intercooler? It's the v2 design, in decent shape. Had it professional pressure tested, zero leaks. Going back to stock IC for weight & plastic endcap reasons.

Just an FYI all the pictures work for me but I have a plugin in Chrome that stop the bullshit photobucket did: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/d...bifiaedg?hl=en <--pretty sure that is the one I use. But I would like to post the new pics on a normal free photo hosting site...

I use imgur for all of my photos. My only complaint is that photos from my phone are uploaded at actually size - way too big for the forum. When this happens I just reupload the photo to imgur and resize using their native settings

so apparently the G20 chassis 3er won't come with a manual option?!? Also, the M340i will only come in x-drive...

This chassis will be the size of the older 5er, BMW is really ditching their roots and will surely lose their competitive edge in this market

I feel it's already gone completely...I mean there are so fucking many models now I can't keep up. They throw M badges on everything. Less manuals, all seems to be FI(Some performance NA options would be nice). i3 and i7 were meh. The list goes on.

I honestly have no idea what I would move on to from my E92.


Anyone here running upgraded coils? Just curious if the reviews online are accurate.

Pretty sure in 5-10 years BMW will only be selling three models:

1. X1 - only available in white and FWD for young rich girls

2. X5 - only available in white with a turbo 4 for older rich girls

3. 5 series - only available in black for older rich men and young college students from other countries going to school here.


At least this seems to be the consensus in my area.

I have both, but I'll need to check the state of the downpipes as I grinded into one a little bit when hacking off a clamp. Considering that I kept them they're probably fine

What's happening with the car, selling it? If so, I'll be very interested in a lot of your parts if the prices are right. My 335is is still stock AF
