Lightbulb Normal 335i Operating Oil Temp?

I have a 2007 BMW 335i Coupe with Dual Cone Intakes, blow off valve, and a strage 1 MHD tune. Automatic with 60,000 miles

The cars oil temperature has been around 230-245 lately and it seems a bit high. Does anyone know the normal operating temperature of the car?

~238 is the factory oil cooler thermostat. These cars hover in that area with or without oil coolers.

230-250 as stated above. That dropped a bit when I added the CSF radiator.

Did you have to code anything to notice a difference? My CSF didn’t change the temp.

My CSF definitely has dropped avg oil temps, particularly at highway speeds. I am also running MHD set for Sport cooling.

Sport cooling has way more impact than swapping the radiator ever will. BMW targets the engine to run hot on purpose, it's not so much a capacity issue. They can run very cool ECT/OCT on stock hardware simply by changing a few tables in the rom, just like the MHD check boxes do.

An aftermarket radiator by itself will do almost nothing for temps (unless you count take longer to warm up). A better radiator only increases the efficiency/capacity that could be exchanged, the thermostat/DME have the final say/control of how much actually is exchanged.
