Update maps via laptop?

Hi,
is possible to update maps via laptop? I can't update maps from USB because of old software in car. And I tried to burn 3xDVD but it shows me DVD is unreadable (other DVD with movies work fine).

What do I need to have for update via laptop?

Are you sure that you burned closed session discs?

If so what format did you choose?

It sounds like you used packet writing instead of iso 9660 or closed udf.
