Anybody got any advice my cars start shaking/missing when I first start it it's been fine over the summer it's a e90 320d I've changed the glow plugs and module but it's still doing it and not got any faults do the injector valves look right

Anybody help also the cars started smelling of diesel when it's first started aswell

Check for codes using ISTA. I've had it before where the mobile apps are not as accurate.

I haven't got ista I've checked it using delphi on the laptop and their is no codes it started fine this morning when the temp outside was +6.5 and it was dry don't sure if its doing it when it's damp

could be start of dpf clogging..take it for a good drive..also get coolant temps checked,,need proper diagnostic,,like said ista etc

Checked the coolant temp and I'm getting 87 degrees is that about right or to low

I've changed the injectors as I thought it was that but the car is still missing and shaking on cold start up any other ideas or help

yeh,,as said,,codes read from a reliable tool,,like ista,,going round in circles throwing money at it otherwise

3 and 4 don't look great, middle is perfect case and numbers 1 and 2 are good, but 3 and 4 are off a bit. Did you code the new injectors?

Thanks for the reply yeah I've coded the injectors in would 3 and 4 cause it to missfire and shake on start up

I'm not entirely sure, what may be a good idea would be to use one of ISTA's service functions to do the "smooth running control" I think it's called. There's YouTube videos showing the procedure as well I'm sure. J0K3r5 has all the software posted in the coding section so you can download for free

The car has been mapped and the egr valve has been deleted could this cause the missing when cold in winter months
