Car won't go to sleep mode

My E93 wont go to sleep mode. I can hear the car prime the LPFP every minute or so and the start up button doesn't turn off. It has "High Battery Discharge" warning when I start up the car.

Since this happened, the windows and door acting weird. It won't go down few mm when door open. Or it will go down few mm on other unopened door. Once a while, it give me the door ajar warning when the car is moving.

I'm sure if i bring it to dealer, they will say they can't replicate the issue.

any idea?

I am guessing there is a bad sensor, or stuck switch, in the door which is making the car's computer think one of them is open and therefore won't make the car go into sleep mode.

I did think about that. But both doors have the same issue. The chance that both sensor goes bad at the same is unlikely. I'm think it could be a module that is monitor the sensors.

Could be one of the modules in the doors or possibly the door handle. Find the fuses for the doors, unplug one, and see what happens. If whichever door fuse is unplugged and the car goes to sleep and stays asleep, then you will know which door it is.
