looks great.
pipe goes all the way down. I say 15-19 whp. i'm speculating. the only concern would be water - the dme board is right under the MAF sensor area.

it's not a biggie // the front snorkel. If it rains
type of thing. - u figure because the intake box is gone and the dme has been relocated outside. It'll be more exposed to the elements. And I'm sure they'll be a scoop to that snorkel attachment. If you get a good rain fall, small amount of water will get suck'd in and there maybe a chance of it splattering to the board. there is a slight chance. But if there was a shield between the filter and the tubing i'll feel less concern'd. that's all.

well, u are right next to them. that's pretty good info. i sent them an email earlier - to see if they needed an e90 to test. I'm crossing my fingers that the price will not be to insane - honestly, you can build one of these bad boys. it's just the MAF placement - bent mandrel pipe and a cone. I just think the injen one looks very nice so far.

Frankie- water on the DME would be no different then how it is now. The DME is mounted on the under side of the intake manifold. The board isnt exposed, its a completely sealed off unit. Part of the DME actually sits in a hole in the intake manifold which is actually sealed off. It has nothing to do with this "intake" and there would be zero ill affects with an aftermarket cold air kit

Nope, no worries
This intake that injen is making looks exactly how I want to make one if I do a custom setup. I may still build a custom setup like shown in the picture depending on cost. If this intake is over $200-$250 Ill make my own that will look exactly like that for less then 1/2 that price. |

I shouldn't, one less pipe, less bends, and one less cone. This looks a lot easier o make
