Rear wheel hp is 219 measured on a DynoDynamic and about 220 or a little more as measured using the accelerometers in the Race Technology DL1Mk3 datalogger.

The pic on the second page with the trailing arm in it and a full view of a Z on a lift in the background shows the aluminum sleeve doesn't sit on the brace and seems to be gapped around a quarter of an inch, or so. Maybe I'm misinterpreting the problem.

FWIW, the more I look at the RealOEM images of the rear axle with suspension and the images of the Delrin bushings it looks to me that the flange shouldn't seat flat on the brace but instead the brace's boss seats on the counterbore surface of the aluminum sleeve's flange only.

I think this answers the question as whether the aluminum mounts will introduce any more noise into the car. Taken from: http://articles.sae.org/13330/ in regards to the F80 M3/M4

"That rear subframe bolts directly to the unibody, without the isolation of rubber bushings to introduce vague steering response."

And also, the dampers should be dealing with all the road imperfections anyway. I'm not sure why you would "feel everything in the road" as you still have a suspension back there.

depends on mods, but I agree with that...I am running KW clubsports, solid mounts on differential via the lockdown kit so I would assume I Would feel a bit more.

I am very glad I chose these, HUGE improvement.

1. I actually feel less v
NVH than yellow powerflex
2. Side to side is completely gone
3. Car tracks straight!
4. Only noise I hear is slight differential whine (hardly hear it.

This is a no brainer mod in my opinion.

I would do powerflex black minimum after seeing how soft yellow is.

Thanks for the advice chaps.

After reading that link a few posts back, about the new M3/M4's subframe literally being fixed to the unibody with no bushings (i think thats what it said), then surely the pure 100% aluminium ones should be good? Or powerflex black as some of you have said.

Learning a lot from this thread and I've decided on Powerflex blacks, I AutoX every months and the side to side on this car causes me to break loose forcing me to slow down more than the M3 guys I'm competing against.

Looking at the ECS website it looks like there is "Rear Subframe Rear Position" and "Rear Subframe Front Position"

Im not exactly which I need, or maybe both. Can someone please explain the difference and what most people do?

you will need both. front kit comes with 2, rear kit comes with 2. 4 in total.
