2011 335D No Start

So, I have a 2011 335D

I need some help with troubleshooting

I purchased this car from my uncle for $1000

124k Miles

With a dealer repair cost of $14,000 to "maybe fix the car"

Dealers Recommends Solution Replace Entire Fuel System.

Cause. car won't start does not have enough fuel pressure at the rail.

Dealer Replaced HPFP and Filter tried swaping the fuel rail with no difference.

I daily a 2011 328i but always wanted some turbo power. I bought this car from him because i figured i couldn't lose at 1000.

What are some steps i could take that the dealer might have missed to try to trouble shoot this cars fuel system.

I'd really appreciate it.

Does it keep cranking or stop after a second or so?
Does the low pressure fuel pump run?

As previous poster said, low pressure fuel pump...could be bad fuel too.

If all else fails, since you are in MI, try contacting Matt Whitbread in Gaylord for help. Diesel Ops is another option, but I would suggest Matt first

Does it crank well?

In ista /rheingold you can run tests to see if the low pressure pump is making pressure or not.
