I am currently looking into attempting to start a group buy for those interested. Once I get the okay from the mods, I will start a thread and most likely link it in this one. My goal is to get the pricing down to $100 or so for 4 of them. I do not want to go ahead and pay to have a bunch of these made if there are only 3-4 people interested. If that is the case, I would be out of the initial investment to run a lot more than the 4 I personally need.

Keep in mind, I gave the dimensions from this thread to my CNC guy. If anyone sees an issue with them or has better measurements, now would be the time to pass that along.

I am not trying to start a business or become a sponsor so for now, I am not offering anything for sale. I simply want to find a source we can all use and help everyone out.

I will keep you all posted.

I'm the guy that posted the original bushing dimensions, so if I may give you a little tip..

The measurements are pretty correct and a 0.0x mm difference will not give you any problems whatsoever, but I would rather take one original bushing out and let him measure the outer dimensions himself just to be on the safe side and avoid any misunderstandings, that way you'll give him something physical to copy, an example what the final product should look like, doing so you'll exclude any error possibility..

If you have any other questions, don't hesitate..

greetings from Germany, still loving my BBK

Yes, he has the factory bushing and used the outer dimensions from that. I also sent him the measurements from this thread to use. Thanks for all of your contributions to this thread.

Highly unlikely for US market. Labor cost are lot greater here. Shop could make hundreds of pieces to drop cost but then there isn't enough demand for these.

I'd be down for a set of those for the rear calipers.

335d cypis seems to be the best source for these. I would have to either have 9 other members commit and pay for a set, or pay up front myself for 10 sets of the bushings in order to get close to the price he is able to get them for.

They do get cheaper the more I order, but still not as cheap.

Has anyone else on here used the E82 rear hub in order to use the F30 rear rotors with the offset bushings? 335d cypis and I were discussing this and it seems like the best solution as long as you don't have wheels that would rub with 10mm of additional width from the E82 hub. I may throw on a set of 10mm spacers and drive around for a couple days to make sure I don't have any rubbing before swapping in 135i hubs.

Start a group buy. Honestly I think that these even at $200 are affordable.

I have no idea how to. I will be ordering a set, so I suppose if anyone else wanted to jump in, international shipping would go down a bit, but honestly, its not too bad from the get go.
