2008 330xi e90 - suspension refresh kit - which 1 - clicking and crunching a little
So I have a e90 335xi with 90k miles. Over the winter I noticed some clicking and crunching over bumps and when turning especially at low speeds or cutting it out of the driveway. I think is time for a refesh kit. I see 2 basic kids....one in ESC, the other on FCP for around 350-400.
The ESC one has control arms, bushings, end links, ball joints, and sway bar bushings. The FCO one adds Tension strut but does not have end links and I don't believe it has bushings either. I think I am doing the comparison correctly. Can anyone shed some light for me here on which I should get? I tried to diagnose off the ground when I was changing bulbs but things seemed tight. I figured I would just buy a kit considering the mileage and have it done. https://www.ecstuning.com/b-assemble...31126768989kt/ https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/bmw...2-e90caxdrive1 Any help would be appreciated....or a different direction if im on the wrong track. Thanks peeps! |

what did you end up doing?
I'm in the same situation.. 328 xdrive with sport suspension and 150kms.. I'm the second owner. Super clean car. 2 wks into ownership and I blew a front strut on a pothole..oil leaking everywhere.. so thinking B4 to replace the oem strut and refresh the rest while its on the hoist. Thoughts? |
