When you do, double check that you aligned them so they arent touching the subframe. That way, you wont have to go back underneath and torture yourself a second time. Ask me how I know

I'm starting the downpipes tonight as soon as I get home and I'll be sure to triple check the subframe clearance! When I get her all buttoned back up I have zero desire to do this again!! I've put them off long enough!!!

I found it easiest to to get the vbands on, but loose and then same with the bolts to the rest of the exhaust. I then could turn/tweak them to make sure they weren't touching each other or the subframe

They came with the car, actually part of the reason the car caught my eye in the first place. PO bought them off an IS owner. Lucky break for me

Just realized I never added this little project to this thread
Added a couple orange LEDs to my center compartments a while ago. Matches oem ambient lighting. Had to remove trim pieces and carefully drill access hole on each

Spent the weekend swapping my msports for eibach pros.

If I'm honest, I should have just done them at the same time when I did my B8 swap but I thought the stock msports would be better sorted for a DD. Spoiler, it isn't (to me anyways). As a result, I pretty much had to do that whole process twice. End results were definitely worth it though, 100%

Im super glad I did a bit more digging before the second time though, because I found this post from feuer a few years back talking about this tool which saved me a ton of work and sanity on the rear shock swap. (And according to the service manual, is actually the documented method for the procedure lol)

Eibach anti sway pars are worth it too. I powder coated mine black to keep the stock look. That color you've got is bitching.

Thank you! Yea I've been looking at sway bars passively, bit on the fence on H&R vs Eibach.

My OEM set up already uses the 26.5mm front that came on the sport (m-sport?) suspension packages, but I definitely feel like the rear needs to be upgraded. I also don't want to unbalance the front/rear setups so I know I'll likely have to upgrade both together. My biggest concern is making a change that will emphasize my lack of an LSD or significantly ramp up under/oversteer (although she can use a tad more oversteer imo)

What's your exhaust setup now, catless DPs, Vibrant resonators, and 335is mufflers? How does it sound? Any rasp? This is the setup I'm thinking to go with.

Oh, and how did you fit a 275 rear tire? Are those on the 335is stock rims?

Yup, that's my current set up. I love it, no rasp or droning. No cabin noise changes. Just a nicer, deeper growl compared to stock. It has satisfying volume when you actually put your foot down though

And yes these are the OEM BMW style 313. Originally 255 but 275 will fit on the 19x9 and adds a bit of curbing protection

Were you able to fit 275 on the 313's without stretching and such? I have the OEM 313's and I wasn't sure what the widest tire was I could use.

Interesting if I had known I would of got 275's in the rear and 235's for the front!

I actually downsized back to 265, while I never had functional issues with the 275s, the sidewall sat about half a cm outward of the rim face. Which is great for curbing protection tbh, I just wanted a flush look personally

I'm not sure where these are from, My gf bought me these to make it up for closing the garage door on my car which scratched my old lights lmfao.

But they do have the sets on some of the popular e9x reseller sites, as well as on ebay for like half the price (which I have a suspicion are the exact same lights that the resellers source).

They have the euro LCI version too (All red lenses with amber blinkers)
