Anybody know someone who can put springs on for me? Local shops wanted $450 - $850. It doesn't look that hard for someone with the right tools...
Are you guys still getting together on the 29th of this month. I would like to come out.

Is an alignment after the new sport springs a requirement or optional if it is pulling?
Contemplating DIY. Although I would rather pay someone $200 and be done with it. My turbos are LOVING the cooler weather.

Newer pics
Was on my way to work this morning and thought I'd take a couple of shots in the way-too-early morning light. Sorry for the camera phone pics, but it needs a wash anyway. Oh, and for the shaky hand... little more coffee please.

Hey guys so I just moved into Austin Ranch in the Colony from LA.
So far food has been great. Girls are hot. But what are some activities to do? I don't just want to eat/drink everyday and get fat. My car is being shipped down at the moment and I am dying without it. Someone was telling me about a fun carting place. |

Welcome! What brought you down here from LA? North Texas has attracted a lot of transplants in this area lately.
I also live in AR so feel free to look me up sometime. Unfortunately from the surface, DFW seems that it's a great place to live, but not really to visit, as we don't have many free or natural attractions, but I suppose the same can be said for LA. Lake season extends well into October if you have a way to get on the water. There's a nice jogging and biking trail right around the corner at the Arbor Hills Nature Preserve. The House of Blues and Granada Theater are my favorite live music venues, both of which are closer to downtown. DFW is a great place for sports fans with the Cowboys, Rangers, Mavs and Stars and tickets are sometimes pretty reasonable to some of these games. We also have a decent amount of college football coverage with TCU, SMU and Cowboys Stadium in close proximity and UT, Baylor and OU are within 3 hour drives. Most of the good museums and theater houses are in downtown Dallas. Fort Worth offers its own gems and a bit more laid-back look/feel compared to Dallas. We lost our only indoor karting facility some time back but there have been rumors of another project picking up somewhere nearby-- it just hasn't taken off yet. Speed Zone is probably the most recognized outdoor recreation karting facility, with a couple styles of tracks and a drag racing simulator. There's a good karting track in Sanger, just north of Denton, if you want to run a shifter kart. Feel free to PM me if you have more questions and I'll probably see you around soon. |

It's a smart location, center of US. About the karting, does speed zone or that shifter place let you rent karts? |

Lots of fun. Fast karts. Can rent shifters. Not very crowded on weekdays.
