Today I tried to change my halo bulbs to led's, of course I went to lux and bought the lux lci V3 (https://www.luxangeleyes.com/collect...lci-halogen-v3). So as I was about to install them they wouldn't seem to fit. I have halogens not xenons so I don't know if I bought the wrong ones? Here is a picture of where I was trying to fit the lux led's in.

Halogen models use a funny looking bulb for the angels. The xenon models use a standard H8 bulb for the angels. You got the wrong bulb, I think all LUX angel eyes are for Xenon models.

I have the same headlamps as you but the white plastic piece that surrounds the AE tubes one present. Maybe try removing those and then it may fit.

Pre-LCI: Proprietary bulb. P/N 63117161444. Your car has this: https://www.ecstuning.com/b-genuine-...h/63112179077/ It also appears you left the basket/housing in the socket. See pics at link above and you'll know what I mean. Last edited by e90yyc; 07-16-2018 at 04:51 PM.. |
