09 335i - no CPO from Carmax
What do you guys think? Is it worth buying? I looked at the car and drove it and everything was very fine. There is very minor damage to the front bumper (maybe got hit by a shopping cart or something, or hit some sort of post idk), and the rims have slight scratches so I assume a woman had been driving it .
This is a CarMAX car and I checked the record and it came originally from Florida. I don't know if that is good or bad. Other than that the car seems pretty perfect for me. I wish it had the M Sport Package but whatever. I'll survive. Haha... Also the car had been sold the same day I looked at it 2 weeks ago and it seems like the guy returned it within the 5 days you have to return the car for a full refund. Then the car was transported to the Torrance CarMax, then to the Ontario one, now it is back in Riverside and they ask $1k less than when I test drove it. Please let me know your opinion. Thanks GUYS! http://www.carmax.com/enus/view-car/...e-c477a1392f37 Last edited by kgroschi; 09-29-2012 at 10:30 PM.. |

I bought mine form Carmax and took it to my local Indy for a PPI. All checked out so I kept it. I wouldn't buy it without a PPI. GL

Bought my 07 335i(E90, sport pkg, cold weather pkg, 33k miles) from CarMax about year and a half ago. Took me a while to find one with a manual tranny. Listed for $24,895, and after extra warranty(good til 2016/100k miles)/tax...total came out to about $28k. Right after purchase, took car to BMW for any recalls/warranty work since I was still under BMW factory warranty(4 yrs/50k miles). After a couple of visits before that warranty ran out, BMW installed new fuel pump, 2 injectors, ecu update, syn oil change, & front/rear brake pads all for free. Now that's service!
