Help!! 19" Hamann HM2 wheels on my 2006 e90 se

Hi, I am new to this forum as I have just purchased a 2006 E90 SE.

After reviewing the internet I was informed that the Hamann HM2 wheels will fit my car. Sizes as below.

Front
Wheel size - 8.5 x 19
Stud pattern - 5 x 120
Offset - 38
Tyre size - 225/40/19

Rear
Wheel size - 10 x 19
Stud pattern - 5 x 120
Offset - 28
Tyre size - 255/35/19

After purchasing and fitting the rear seems to be rubbing on the inside of the wheel arch but seems to be only on the drivers side? This only happens when I have passengers in the back or when going over a speed hump.

Any ideas of how to prevent this rubbing issue and if you have any advise on the fitment of these size wheels on this car any shared knowledge would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks Dan

You bought the wrong tyre sizes. Should be 225/35R19 up front and 255/30R19 rear. Your rear tyres by example are 25mm too tall. That is your problem.

Thanks for your input guys. I have booked to have the rear arches rolled which will hopefully solve the problem. The tire sizes are what came with the wheels. Which the front are fine and as you say the rears are to tall.

With rolling the arches will this allow me to lower the car without rubbing also.

Cheers guys.
