JB3 Problem
I just recently installed JB3 2.0 on my e92. It’s been a total of two days with the tune installed and I am amazed at how much the tune has increased the power of the car. I have it set to map 3, with 91 fuel.
I haven’t had any issues in the two day period, and haven't gone crazy flooring it. So I told my buddy at work about my recent tune and he said he wanted a ride to feel the difference. So I switched to DTC mode for some extra wheel spin, and gunned it. When I did it seemed the engine stalled or wouldn’t switch gears. It scared me, if felt like the engine was knocking. I did it one my time and the same thing happened. Now, the only other time I've really gunned it like this was at night when the temperature is about 60 degrees. Today when going out for a test with my co-worker the temperature is about 80+. My guess is the weather. But I cant think of any other reasons other than a bad install. I don’t have any errors on the dash btw. Has thing happen to anyone? I couldn't really think of what to search for with issues like this so if anyone has a link they can include, or some information that would be great.

If anything was wrong you would have a check engine light. From your description it sounds like you just lost traction and the stability control system intervened.

I was expecting the limp mode to kick in, or a check engine light to come on but it didnt.
