question on sstt - how long before ECU adapts?

does anybody know how long it takes the ecu to adjust to the sstt?? does it take a couple of days or does it depend on how much u drive it in a day? would the ecu adjust faster if i drove 50-60 miles with it or does the car have to be driven and turned off to let the ecu go into sleep mode and repeating the cycle??? i'm taking my car to the dealer today and i took off the sstt ... just wanted to know how long it takes for it to adjust?

takes about a day or 2. i would think.

the best way to let it adapt fast is when u install it, disconnect the battery for about 30 min and than connect the battery again.

dont forget to follow the sleep mode guidelines to install the SSTT, if u do it via battery, just disconnect the battery install the SSTT wait 30 min , connect the battery and go on your way.

Make sure you floor the car and rev it high but safe for a day or two. This will definetely help the ECU to adapt quicker.

20-30 miles of hard pulls sould do the trick. You'll kinda hear a slightly more pronounced exhaust note when it's adapted.

I recently installed the SSTT best to disconnect the battery (negative terminal) this helps to adapt almost immediately.

there is a distinct exhaust note change as well.
