I finally hit......

Well guys I do not post on the forums much but I have been around for quite a while now and yesterday I hit 50,000 miles on my 07 bmw 335i sedan.

I guess I am one of the lucky few because I am still on my ORIGINAL fuel pump however long cranks are not a rarity on my car. I've had my spark plugs changed once and will probably be changing them again around 60k miles just to keep things fresh.

Just for those of you that question the durability and reliability of our cars once tuned I have clocked almost 48,000 miles tuned in some sort or another.

Began with a SSTT and I have ran almost all tunes including JB1, JB2, JBHHR, JBX, V2 (very briefly), V3(also briefly before getting into financial troubles due to a funeral) and currently the JB3. I can happily say the car is holding up pretty well

Hmm. . . Not sure if you should consider yourself lucky that your fuel pump hasnt gone out yet.
Yes you have bene lucky that it hasn't. . . But odds are that it will.
And when it does you'll have to pay for it no that you're out of warrenty!

The warranty for the hpfp has been extended to 100,000 miles. I figured someone who has almost 20,000 post would have heard about that..

100k for fuel pump. But when you bring in your car thinking its a fuel pump problem and its actually not. They will try to charge you $120/hr for the things they did, such as check your fuel pump status.

I'm in the same boat Mr. 5!

We've always been very close in mileage throughout the year but I guess I began ta slip away a bit

I just figured it would be nice for people to know that these cars are holding up very well.
