Hey everyone,

Just wanted you all to know that the BMW Drivers Club NSW has entered the Nulon Nationals 2017 NSW Series for any that are interested. The Nulon Nationals Series is a motorsport competition held for free by Nulon Australia which pits club against club. This year there are 14 clubs in total entered, each putting forward a team of 4 for each of the 4 motorsport disciplines.

• Motorkhana - SMSP Skid Pan - 8th of January
• Hill Climb - Mt Panorama Bathurst - 13th-14th of April
• Time Attack - GP Circuit SMSP - 15th of July
• Roll Racing - Main Straight SMSP - TBA September

For the upcoming motorkhana round on the 8th of January, there is free entry to all and the day includes a show and shine, mini meet, BBQ, live music and of course, the motorkhana competition. I'll be competing as one of our team of 4 in my 135i (pictured below during a motorkhana competition) and it would be awesome to see some of you guys cheering on the beemers representing for the first time in this competition.

If anyone's not sure what a motorkhana is, it's a series of cone courses on a wet skidpan and involves a fair amount of handbrake turns and rotations and a bit of drifting. The faster you get through each course the better however if you hit a cone or go the wrong direction you get heavily penalised. The lowest cumulative time at the end of the competition wins.

The BMW Drivers Club also run regular motorsport events (Supersprints, Motorkhana, Driver Training), meets, and drives. If you're interested in joining the club or coming along to one of our events, please feel free to hit me up!
