You dont think the Cupra 180 would go quicker than a 170HP Audi?

Pages 3+4 of this thread are classic stuff. Delusional is, I think, an apt word.

I had a 2004 330i w/ZHP that was rated at 235 hp. Mine was a manual transmission.

I remembered the 0-60 mph on that car was 5.7 sec.

You need to try to be less scientific about it.

All that matters is this ...

Anything slower than a 335d (stock) is 'really really slow'.

Anything quicker than a 335d (stock), but slower than a 335d (mapped) is 'a bit quick'

Anything quicker than a 335d (mapped), is 'properly quick'

No other units of measurement are necessary.

Either way mate, Do you think a 330i would keep up with a stock 335i?

Depends what you mean by 'keep up' the 335i is clearly quicker (and so is a 335d).

But .. a 330i isn't sluggish by any stretch.

It has decent acceleration, but just not as much as a 335i / 335d

(Which was the point of the thread I think)

I honestly cant tell when you are being serious DXB and when you are not - you cant honestly enjoy repeatedly talking about driving in a straight line faster than other cars?

I like my car. Its comfy, well built, quick enough. But seriously, I wouldnt spend the countless hours you do on many forums defending the straightline speed of a diesel 3 series?

It aint just straightline speed is it though.

Either way, a 330i E46 is not as quick. Thats 100%! We all know that!

You do not agreee?
