Have you been asked to pay extra on the luxury car tax?
My 335 is coming next month but sales told be few days ago that 'unfortunately' my car will go up due to LCT, which about $3500. They said this applies to all cars delivered after 1 July 2008, depite the fact that order was made before this. So... did they charge you extra few thousands? |

I saw your pictures posted a week or so ago and thought silver would be a good chioce. Smaller tummy though and I'm an older fart so I dont need the extra power.

My dealer apparently mixed up color - asked extra 1500 - No way I am paying for that - not my problem. Had to go thru all crap sign this paper, I will see what I can do for you ..... etc Signing a paper - you commit to get a car(humans take visual input way more serious) - doesn't mean anything. Can you make decision today - you are a one who makes decision and you can not pull out by saying have to confirm with my wife. Let me go check with my manager - he is playing good guy bad guy, you will like dealer, but bloody manager wants more cash, but since person you talk to is so nice you want to step up a prices. Basically they use all tricks from the book, but they can not think outside a box. Every time they tried to pull something like that, I explained why it's done and that I am not going to pay extra and either I get a car or please give my deposit back, no calling later etc etc. With current petrol prices and inflation these cars will be more and more harder to sell, so they will give you your car anyway. and after this long post - grats on the car! |

Welcome to the forum. Great looking car, and I am sure you will love the 325i. I still love mine even after 2.5 years and 67,000 odd kilometers
Have to say though that this love would be sorely tested if I ever test drove a 335i

Clean them properly first and then apply a coat of good polish or wax. Important to clean them weekly with soapy water and reapply the polish or waw every 3 months. Wheels will be relitivly easy to clean.

I have 3 words for you all "Armorall Wheel Cleaner"
My wheels drove my nuts, until I decided to try this product. Spray on, wait a few minutes, then high pressure spray and voila shiny, clean wheels. I do it as prep before cleaning the car at my local car wash joint.
