I highly recommend this tune as well. The car feels loads faster...throttle is much more sensitive and this kind of power for our NA engine's makes a huge difference.
Anyone get a service engine light though? Mine came on after maybe driving about 3 miles...but the car feels perfectly fine. Car is a 06 325i

thanks brian, I believe FNG has the scan tool as well...if it doesn't go away within the next couple of days then we'll get it checked out.

I had a light, but I had actually placed the Orange wire on the small ECU component in the wrong spot (counted from the wrong side oops). It came up as O2 sensor stuck lean. I just cleared the code and fixed the wire and no lights.

I too recommend this tune. Running Map3 produces a much better initial throttle response and boost in the RPM band (as previously mentioned). The boost in power is significant and will definitely lurch you forward.
Definitely not a bad bang for the buck

This is a great tune for the N52's and the overall feel is much improved. it is not just about peak power but a total HP gain over the entire RPM range. That is what makes the difference on any good tune.

VANOS isn't the problem. The issue is VALVETRONIC which is on the N52 but not the N54.
