I'm midway through trying to upgrade the stereo system on my BMW 320d (e90). I've purchased the Eonon E90A12 model which is meant to be a plug and play system but I've run into some confusion as the install instructions are super vague. Please see attached install page. It refers to adding some clips though two holes at the top of the mounting bracket for the climate control. However it doesn't say which way round they go and how they are secured.

I've attached a photo of the clips I believe they are referring to but they just wobble all over the place as there is nothing securing them in place and I have no idea if I have put them in the right way round or not.

Has anyone installed this before and have any idea how this works? Any help is welcome.

This eonon model is absolutely a brilliant upgrade to the sound system. The reason I went with this instead of the i-drive systems is because you can concert it back to the original factory system. I didn't want to have to cut a massive chunk out the dash. So yeah this eonon model comes with apple carplay and android auto.

I ended up contact eonon directly and gave me a link to someone does the full install procedure.

I haven't had chance to get back out to the bmw due to the freezing temperatures, but i feel now I have adequate information the install process will be so much easier.

So if anyone ends up buying this model I suggest watching the video link. Its very detailed. Can't wait to get it working.
