If it's the person Im thinking of, I've seen 2 of them. One was a pre-lci M-tech that they tried to sell on ebay and I believe the other one was a Le Mans Blue M-Sport. Both of those were 6 speed manuals.

I wish it wasn't Monaco Blue. One of the most boring colors in my opinion. I also reached out to him, it's a german spec'd car that has no options besides m sport suspension and sport seats. Also the seats are the manual seats

Great looking car... This is almost identical to the swap I want to do with my car. I'm really aiming for an N54 from the 335is and the DCT with the shifter mechanism from the E9x M3.

But wow, great build. Surprised its not listed higher.

I see 2 differences with the x-drive. They are geared even shorter so you might have to replace both differentials and the transmission length will be longer so a couple parts having to do with the mounting will be different.

If I was going to do a 6MT swap on an iDrive car, I would convert it to RWD. Buy a wrecked E90 RWD and do a front subframe swap and ditch the entire AWD system. A custom transmission bracket is needed as Redshift shows in his thread where he did the conversion of an E91 xDrive auto to an E91 with a 335d engine with a 6MT and RWD. The big plus is that you get the quicker RWD steering rack in the process!

Single hump 84K 6MT RWD. A bit of a stripper from the options perspective (missing sport package, heated seats, comfort access, adaptive headlights, etc.), but it's in good shape and about as low mileage as you can find these days.

The rack by itself is a big enough upgrade. Xdrive rack sucks it's too slow. I have a rwd one at home, need a cheap af xdrive rack so I can try swapping internals between them.
