328i Suspension upgrade questions
I recently bought a 2007 328i that's in need of new suspension both front and rear. I'm trying to spend as little money as possible without completely cheaping out and just wanted to get an idea as to what is absolutely necessary so I can get a starting point and work from there. Not interested in anything fancy but want something sportier than stock. Any info appreciated.

If you lean toward a firmer, more controlled ride, look at Koni Sport/Eibach ProKit. Much better control, about 1” lower, still not as harsh as Bilstein.
If looking for an improvement without lowering, go with Bilstein B4 and original springs. With either, get the install kits from FCPEuro or ECS: Front: strut mounts, bump stops Rear: upper/lower mounts plus bump stops |

This is a good thread to look at the 330i and 328i are virtually same car. https://www.e90post.com/forums/showt...6#post30424786
I'm in same boat on a budget and needing to upgrade the under bits. My recommendation is to get one of the eight, ten or eleven piece kits from FCP and a set of new B6 shocks (plus the mounting kits). Highly recommend the m3 control arms a cheap easy way to upgrade and fix the worn bits. Last edited by crashoverride; 08-22-2023 at 06:42 PM.. |
