Which brake pads
Just bought an used 2009 328i and I got the Inspection Needed light with Brakes illuminated on the dash. This is my first BMW so the pad wear sensor is completely new to me. Which pads do you use that come with that sensor?

Go with some aftermarket pads like Hawk, or another brand. The reduced brake dust, thermal performance, and pedal feel is better than OEM. The sensor is like $35 at auto zone. It's one time use.

for sure on aftermarket Hawk or Akebono are quite popular better performing and often cheaper than factory. with better braking and lots of less dust.
Wear sensor is super cheap and needs replacing when brakes replaced. You should have just one on front and one on rear. It has an end a bit like a micro sized beer can when crushed it will alert. |
