I don't have NSCExpert. May be able to find someone local who does, or through team viewer possibly. Thanks.

Start with Standard tools, and I think the directions are with them once you download.

About to do this install in the coming weeks and was wondering if there was a guide on how to remove/replace the rear eccentric/offset bushings?
Been scouring so many threads and forums and have not come across it yet.

For reference, car is a 2009 330D LCI, went with the 340 front caliper and F30 Brembo discs (drilled and slotted) , rear I went with the E60 345mm Zimmerman discs (drilled).
Wheels are OEM 18" MV3.
Got a used E92 M3 master brake cylinder and servro.
Pads I went with F30 EBC Red Stuff. Also going to fit some Goodridge stainless Steel lines.

Assuming the setup so far is all good? No need for spacers etc? And only cutting the rear dust shield?

Apologies in advance, I'm sure this has been covered several times but there are so many different forums and posts with so much conflicting information. This thread seems to be the most active and hence the question here.

Ive been told it's as simple as hitting it out with a mallet with the screw still in it. Pressing in can be done with a desk vice. Have you gotten your eccentric bushings yet?

Thanks for the that, that's reassuring as I thought I would need to get them pressed out.
Yup, got them here.

Finally, just to the confirm that the new bushes need to go in button dead center?

That's super helpful.

Now the only thing left to do is to figure out which calipers go on the left hand side and right hand side of the car.

My "M" badges are like yours, one is the correct way and one is upside down.

Bleeder valves always face up. That will tell you your answer.

Did you use anything to ensure that they don't move around? I had to use a mallet to get them in, and although they won't come out they do seem like they may rotate given enough force.

Once it is all bolted up it is practically impossible for them to rotate

See page 86 as there was a discussion by two of the main developers. Cypis makes ones with groves/slits. Turbid/ebay (same) vendor do not.

Yes, the discussion got into a solidworks modeling debate and how the forces generally make the groves unnecessary.

That said, full disclosure, the ones I ordered had groves.

Great, thanks guys!

Last one promise as I'm planning on fitting it all today.
The bolts that hold the caliper to the car, for the rear can I use the bolts that are on the car? Given that the ones that came with the calipers now no longer fit the eccentric bushings.

So the rear will have the stock bolts and the fronts use the F30 bolts?

I haven't inspected the car yet, just been doing all the prep and getting everything ready.

Yes, for rear you use your E-series 10mm bolts. For front F-series bolts that came with the calipers.

Great, thanks for that.
I ended up using the original bolts for both the front and rears.
Brakes look awesome, also did the M3 master brake cylinder upgrade too.

Unfortunately, whilst installing the stainless brake lines, I ended up twisting the original hard line so now need to replace that.

Thanks for all the help guys!

Uh...how did you end up using the original bolts if you had eccentric bushings?

As in the e90 bolts for both front and rear. Didn't use any of the F30 bolts

I was wondering the same thing and then I figured it out. The original bolts on the e90 rear are 10mm the f30 are 12mm. That's how

Front F30 calipers are M12x1.5 so you can use e9x bolts or F3x it doesn't matter. Rear F30 calipers have M12x1.5 but E9x uses M10x1.5, but when you buy eccentric inserts they come with M10x1.5 so you need to use OEM E9x bolts.
