The dreaded gas prices

So a friend of mine provided me with this link a few weeks ago. I'm not sure if this has been posted here before or not, but I just thought that it might come handy

I would like to mention that (so far), it has been correct everyday that I have checked.

http://www.mcteague.ca/WebPages/gas_price_today.htm

This gives you the going gas price 24 hrs in advance.

I dunno, but something has to be done mass scale... somebody with a lot of pull, to just ban people together and REFUSE to drive, EVERYONE takes mass transit to the point that it cant keep up. it has to be a HUGE protest, and people would HAVE to buy into it... if this were to happen in major cities around canada, this could be a solid movement. people would be late for work, the transit system would start to get fu@ked with the overload... people are angry, sure...but nothing is really being done about it other than bitching and griping.

when people protest, LARGE protests that are undeniable...things happen, things change, but its going to have to be something out of this world, and everyone has to take part.

but it can be done.

if not, get ready for 2 bucks a L.

I completely agree with you here. It would be nice in a perfect world, but there is no chance in France that this will ever happen. People rely too much on their cars these days.
And of course public transit increasing their fares doesn't help, either. heh

no, it's not just about performance, you will probably damage the engine too. Better not cheapskate on that $10.

I know how he feels. I have a Ford Excursion with a 170 litre tank. With diesel at $1.40 that's a $240 fill-up!

Why would you feel sorry for him? It's his choice to drive a truck like that.

I bet 90% of the time, he's the only person in it.

Wow!
But that lasts you for a bit, no?

A co-worker of mine drives the new Armada...$80 to fill the tank, doesn't even last him a week.

Paid just over $1.60 per litre for 94 octane the other day...This is getting completely out of control. Price per barrel of oil is levelling out yet our prices at the pump keep going up at a record rate..More money for those greedy fucking oil execs.

And I love how they keep feeding us that B.S. that even though crude oil prices are levelling, their refinement costs keep going up! Meanwhile all the major oil companies are seeing record profits for this year. And just when you hope the government will step in and help, maybe lower gas taxes, but instead they do the exact opposite by instating a “carbon tax” of 2.4 cents per litre....Shafting us little people right in the ass once again..
