Whats going on guys! My names Ryan, I'm from Mississauga Hwy 10 and Eglinton and I just picked up a 2011 323i, Alpine White, 6 speed. LOVE IT!! Question for some of you. How do you guys wash your cars in the winter? I am so nervous to go to a coin op or a touch less car wash. Don't want any swirls...but I hate seeing my car dirty!! Do you guys use ONR?

Welcome! Im new too

I wouldn't take it to a touchless car wash where the guys at the end wipe it dry....they will definitely do a number on your car with the swirls.

There are some car washes associated with Esso that you drive through and at the end there is a dryer that gets most of the water. I use that from time to time. No swirls etc since no one is wiping it down. I then park it to the side and wipe any water left with my own soft towel.

Other than that, love and care by doing it yourself is the only option.

Didn't think this question was worth it's own thread. Been checking out the site and want to pick up some 19" VMR V718's in Hyper Silver for my 328. Are there any local vendors that you guys would recommend or should I just order from one of the site vendors in the states?

I know I get most of my 350Z parts online and shipped but just thought I would check. Thanks.

Called these guys they dont have any halo options for BMWs and they dont do retro LED fits. so that was a complete fail. and install wise they asking way to much 9about 500 for the hid kits for the front end fogs and headlights, no highbeams and 95 for labour.

FUKS that

Touch Less washes aren't bad here and there in winter, they won't swirl your paint. ONR is also awesome, with proper technique it shouldn't marr your paint.

Do not under any circumstances wipe down your car after a touch less wash, you will add swirls everywhere to your paint.

Talking New here! Just wanted to say what's up!

What's up everyone my name's Dale and I just joined the BMW community and am a noob to this forum. I just picked up a CPO 2007 E90 AW. So far I'm loving it . At the moment I've got OEM type 189's and am really digging the look but think I'm in need of spacers. I was thinking 10 mm in the front and 20 mm in the rear.
What do you guys think?
Will it rub as I plan to lower the car with either a ZSP suspension or H&R sport kit?
Also any suggestions for brand and/or a place to acquiring such goods ? (I've been looking at H&R and Sparco spacers)

I think 5mm and 15mm spacers might be a safer bet to avoid rubbing. H&R is a good way to go.

Thanks!

I found a place out of vaughan that's selling H&R spacers for $90 and $4 per lug. Is this a reasonable price?
