My wheel is turning to center, but it seems like it has more resistance than before. For example, if I turn the steering wheel by few degrees left or right, the wheel will stay that way. If it is turned more than few degrees, it will self correct until it reaches that few degrees point. I really think I overtightened something, which does not surprise me. I had to push lower control arm in place, as it wouldn't fit properly. Car is driving straight thou. I am liking the new setup as the car feels way more balanced than before. |

Although overtightening some of those bolts may have taken place, stop stating it as if it's the cause of any of your problems. It sounds stupid. |

First mod I did was junk the RFT's for Michelin PSS. Next I installed KW Series 1 coil-overs.
After much research, I sprang for a Quaife LSD. The car was transformed, and handled like a dream. Recently with 85,000 miles, the back end shimmied, and the car felt looser. I have since replaced the KW's with a set of KW Series 2, had M3 guide rods, trailing arms, bushings, and sway bars installed, and it feels like a new car now. Much tighter, and more planted. Very happy I did such extensive work, especially after the miles on the car built up.

I have stock 2009 335i e90 with stock sport suspension, no issues, my car has 54k miles, I'm thinking to install Monroe Strut Mount - Rear Upper to kill the rear bounciness. do I need anything else? are they direct fit?
would this change make ride harsher? Last edited by SHEEDI; 03-05-2017 at 10:01 AM.. |

They are direct fit and do not feel harsher. Just more planted.

should I also consider doing Monroe Front Strut Mount also ? and what benefits I would see by doing rear upper/lower and front?
