Lux H8 question

After reading many threads on the LUX H8 I finally made the purchase. I have had them for about a month now but haven't installed them. Reason being, I recently read somewhere that they don't work on a 2007 328xi coupe. Is this true or was that misinformation? Any insight would be greatly appreciated as i wanted to install them on wednesday. Thanks.

At any rate, you jumped the gun on these - they are coming out with the new V3 Lux H8 in Feb time frame - that will now allow you to keep all the electronics tucked in the compartment without overheating like they were originally designed

There's a thread with some info/pics on here somewhere...
