as far as internal seals and gaskets (Fuel and Engine System) they are all tested to withstand the E85 trust me i know

I wouldn't mind knowing the details. I have no idea either way...I just know what I was told by Cobb. And since they have no race gas maps yet anyways, I hadn't really done much research.

Ah yes it does run incredibly smooth and pulls like a freight train (i've used freight train wayy too much in the past week).

Do you have a run on 93 no e85/meth for comparison?

93 map 2 is good for 12.6 @ 110 in my car full weight, never tried on race weight.

I had Cobb before...dont have any slips or anything to confirm but to be honest there isn't even a comparison butt dyno wise..the Cobb Stg2+ Aggressive 93 octane will be owned by a JB4 on 50/50 91/E85...

I ran Cobb for about 4 months...last week or so has been on JB4 5/11 firmware with about 30-35% mix of E85 to 91...I'm not even running a 50/50 mix yet and it's killing the car when it was running Cobb...Top end is redic it pulls all the way to redline strong and almost never dies off like any other pump gas tune that power dies at around 6100-6200 rpms..

Just take what I said with a grain of salt thought we are comparing "race gas" on JB4 vs pump gas on the Cobb so obviously there should be a clear cut winner...now when Cobb puts out their race maps and meth maps things should get more fun

Well that does it, I'll be ordering a juice box today! Thanks for the review. Does your jb4 have the 15 ohm mod?

You wont be disapointed...!!

Right now my JB4 is the standard 18ohm just like it came...Hopefully soon ill change out to 15ohm or just upgrade to the new G5 board altogether and save the hassle..

+1. I had Cobb too. Cobb stage 2+ aggressive is comparable to the old map 2 no meth/e85. The new map 5 with 50/50 e85 will smoke Cobb. Map 3 with meth and 50/50 e85 is on a whole different level.

Crazy fast! I timed about 3.5 seconds, on average. What other mods do you have and what tires/wheels are you on?

Hey got a question just bought JB4 in May from BMS, does that come with latest firmware? If so can I just run 100% E85 or do I have to do 30/70 mix? My mods are JB4 map 5, DCI, DPs, and no cats or mufflers. Thanks

The firmware for the new map 5 is still in alpha so you would have to go to n54tech and download it. Just got my jb4 installed yesterday. Once I have some more time behind the wheel I'll post a review/comparison.

you will have to download the hex file and then upload it into the jb4. Also you should only run a max of 50/50 91/E85 mix..

Heres the link:

Some brave souls out there throwing that 50/50 E85 lol..

Friday or monday, depending upon work will be my first E85 trial, gonna keep everything consistent and do a full tank of a E85 30% to 70% 93 tank..
